If you complete the following project, its grade will replace your lowest exam grade.
- Choose one of the following dates in Mexican or world history.
- Get your teacher’s approval for the date you picked.
- Create a visual presentation that represents the date you chose. The presentation must be visible from half of a meter away and must be no larger than a sheet of posterboard (cartulina).
- Essays, outlines, note cards, powerpoints, or any other form of written material will NOT be accepted for this project. The idea is to be creative!
- Should you like to get extra credit twice, you may choose a second date upon completion of the first project. Your teacher must approve the second date, and you must use a different type of presentation the second time.
Ideas:
- Commemorative stamp
- Collage (pictures/graphics collected and pasted in a creative fashion)
- Newspaper headlines with black-and-white photos
- Mural-style hand-drawn pictures
- Whatever else you can come up with (as long as it sticks on paper and doesn’t involve paragraphs)!
