Science Test

For the digestive system, you need to know the large intestine, the small intestine, the stomach, and the liver.

Here are some of the things I promised for the science test. I will add more later.

For this skeleton, you DO NOT need to memorize the illium, the sacrum, or the pubis. You are not in medical school. :p

Extra Credit opportunity for History

If you complete the following project, its grade will replace your lowest exam grade.

  1. Choose one of the following dates in Mexican or world history.
  2. Get your teacher’s approval for the date you picked.
  3. Create a visual presentation that represents the date you chose. The presentation must be visible from half of a meter away and must be no larger than a sheet of posterboard (cartulina).
  4. Essays, outlines, note cards, powerpoints, or any other form of written material will NOT be accepted for this project. The idea is to be creative!
  5. Should you like to get extra credit twice, you may choose a second date upon completion of the first project. Your teacher must approve the second date, and you must use a different type of presentation the second time.

Ideas:

    • Commemorative stamp
    • Collage (pictures/graphics collected and pasted in a creative fashion)
    • Newspaper headlines with black-and-white photos
    • Mural-style hand-drawn pictures
